a friend who works in a hospital has said the reason for the flu outbreak this year was because the vaccines were for Flu type B, but the actual flu going around was type A (or vice-versa). so it's not so much a big scary mystery as "well, that wasn't helpful". I did hate it though. I work from home, so minimal exposure, yet I still managed to get sick of some kind from Oct through Feb, pretty much every 2 weeks.

Someone pointed out on another thread that it is cheaper to buy crap -processed- food than to buy healthy. (garden garden garden) I think it is our food supply and our daily choices (in addition to the super resistant bugs that are out there.) There are so many factors too. (travel) But I think if your immune system is strong your body is able to fight most of it all off. I suggest removing all chemicals from your diet. .. if you haven't already. There may be a time where we have to resort to eating crap so might as well eat as good as possible now.
